Purpose:

Supervising the Welding Process accordingly with Welding Procedures and Quality Requirements in terms of achieving production target and customers’ requirements

Key Responsibilities
Welding process supervision on the shop floor
Checks the existence of welding plans and work instructions on the shop floor
Supervise and check the activity of shop floor welders accordingly with quality requirements
Checks by sampling during welding the use of the welding regime parameters according to the documentation and imposes their compliance by the welders in order to make welded joints to the required quality requirements
Checks the completeness of the welding (all welds and all welding operations) in order to make welded joints to the required quality requirements
Checks by sampling, visually the welds according to the standards or instructions corresponding to the product in order to make welded joints to the required quality requirements
Supervises the introduction of new products into the manufacturing flow in order to achieve welded joints to the required quality requirements
Controls the repair of defective welds in order to meet the required quality conditions
Conducts training in the field of welding with the execution personnel (FLM) in order to deepen their welding technologies.
Prepares the technical documentation (welding part) requested by the external auditor
