InnoTrans 2026: Four Days in Berlin and What Began There
A stand designed for conversationÂ
Marking the fair’s 30th anniversary, InnoTrans 2026 brought together the people and ideas shaping the future of rail. For our team, it was far more than an opportunity to present our latest work. It was a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new partners and hear firsthand what matters most to our customers.Â
We designed our stand with that in mind: warm, open and inviting, a place where people would want to sit down, exchange ideas and talk about what comes next.Â
And they did.Â
Throughout the four days, our stand became a meeting point for customers, operators, leasing companies and industry partners from across Europe and beyond. These conversations gave us valuable insight into the challenges facing rail freight today and the expectations that will shape tomorrow’s solutions.Â
What we brought to BerlinÂ
Innovation matters most when it responds to real operational needs. At InnoTrans, we were proud to introduce new developments across our wagon and bogie portfolio, alongside technology supporting smarter freight fleet maintenance.Â
Our three new wagon designs reflected different transport requirements:Â
- Eanos 85 m³ open box wagon – designed for the transport of bulk and other suitable goods.Â
- FFA 2×40′ UK container wagon – presented with our new GB25RS radial-steering bogie.Â
- Falns 60 m³ hopper wagon – another addition to our portfolio for bulk freight transportation.Â
The new GB25RS radial-steering bogie was an important part of our presentation, highlighting our continued focus on developing railway components that respond to the operational needs of freight customers.Â
Digitalisation was another part of the story. The Amsted Digital IQ Seriesâ„¢ Gateway was displayed aboard our wagons as part of our collaboration to support smarter, condition-based freight fleet maintenance.Â
Beyond the products themselves, the conversations around them were equally valuable. Visitors stepped aboard, explored the designs, asked detailed questions and shared their operational requirements. Understanding how our solutions perform in the context of customers’ day-to-day work is essential to developing products that deliver lasting value.Â
A partnership with a shared ambitionÂ
One of the important milestones of InnoTrans 2026 was the signing of a cooperation agreement between our company and TX Logistik, one of Europe’s leading rail freight operators.Â
The agreement marks a step forward in our collaboration and reflects a shared ambition to contribute to a more efficient European rail freight network.Â
For us, partnerships are an essential part of progress in the rail industry. Developing the right equipment is one part of the equation; understanding how it is used, working closely with operators and building long-term relationships are equally important.Â
InnoTrans provided the right setting to strengthen these connections and explore opportunities for further cooperation.Â
People make the differenceÂ
The exhibition was also an opportunity to welcome guests from across Europe and beyond. We were particularly pleased to receive the Romanian Ambassador to Germany at our stand, highlighting the importance of our activities in Romania, where two of our three manufacturing facilities are located.Â
And while the exhibition halls were the setting for product presentations and business meetings, some of the most memorable moments happened after the day’s work was done.Â
An evening of live music brought together guests from Europe and the Americas in a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged conversation beyond business agendas. It was a reminder that lasting professional relationships are built not only around shared objectives, but also through trust, openness and the time people take to get to know one another.Â
Looking aheadÂ
A month after InnoTrans 2026, we remember our stand much as we had hoped to create it: open, welcoming and full of conversation.Â
We returned from Berlin with new connections, valuable feedback and opportunities to build on. The exhibition may have lasted four days, but the communication it started continue.Â
To everyone who visited our stand, met with our team or shared an idea, thank you for being part of the experience.Â
Watch our InnoTrans 2026 highlights in the video below for a look back at the products, people and moments that made the exhibition memorable.Â
We look forward to returning to Berlin for InnoTrans 2028. Until then, our invitation remains open: whether you have a fleet requirement, a new project or an idea for collaboration, we welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can move forward together.Â
