Fundamentals of our quality policy
Continuously enhancing quality is one of Greenbrier Europe’s most important strategic goals. We constantly aim to satisfy and exceed the high standards of our international customers.
In order to achieve this objective, we draw on our own expert staff dedicated exclusively to quality assurance. The Greenbrier Europe Quality Management System has naturally been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, EN 14025, EN ISO 3834-2 and EN 15085. This is a field where Greenbrier Europe works together with Notified Body.
In order to fulfil our customers’ demands, Greenbrier Europe has implemented, develops and continuously improves its Management System based on the process identification, interaction between processes and control with KPI`s (Key Performance Indicators) analysis according to the Quality Business Plan.
Testing laboratories
The testing of the component groups manufactured is carried out by our specialist quality assurance team. The following certified testing laboratories are responsible for testing:
- Calibration Laboratory
- Destructive Testing Laboratory
- Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory
- Welding Laboratory
Welding School
We work with qualified personnel and continuously focus on the yearly training program:
- Our priority is the constant improvement and training of our welders in new welding technologies for different types of materials.
- Our schools are fully equipped with modern new welding stations with exhaust systems and state-of-the-art welding simulators. As a result, both our employees and students benefit from and enjoy the modern conditions of theoretical and practical training.

We also place great emphasis on the quality of the components delivered by our suppliers:
- Evaluation of suppliers
- Planning and coordination of approval procedures regarding products and processes, as well as process capability (FAI homologation process)
- Keeping under control the quality level of supplied materials and components (KPI- Receiving Rejected Rate)

Quality assurance and process control
Testing procedures are carried out during the manufacturing processes in accordance with the Quality Inspection Plan, specific to the individual products.
Tasks of Greenbrier Europe's quality management:
- Preparation, administration and control of the Quality Management System; documentation of implementation (QM Manual and Company Procedures)
- Procuring of the external certifications for Greenbrier Europe
- Planning and coordination of management system analyses
- Conducting of internal system and process audits
- Planning and coordination of product and process innovations, as well as initiating approval procedures Quality performance analyses (key performance indicators)
Greenbrier Europe is certified by TÜV Süd GmbH to ISO 9001:2015
Greenbrier Europe has had its Quality Management System successfully certified by TÜV Süd (Certifications Body). The Quality Management System complies with the international standards specified under DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
With its seamless Quality Management System, Greenbrier Europe has set in place the prerequisites for securing the status quo and is systematically optimizing its high quality standards. We view our ability to deliver products and services to a high standard as an aspiration and an obligation towards our customers.
