Operating within the European Union, Greenbrier Leasing Europe B.V. is a certified Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) for freight wagons.
Our certification encompasses the following ECM functions:
ECM I - Management
Function
provides supervision and coordination of other maintenance functions, and helps ensure the safe condition of the freight wagons in the
railroad system
ECM II - Maintenance
Development Function
provides management of the maintenance documentation, including the configuration management, based on design and operational data as well as on required performance and return on experience
ECM III – Fleet Maintenance
Management Function
Provides management of the removal of freight wagons for maintenance and return to operation after maintenance is completed.
