Job Summary
- Key Responsibilities
- Supervise welding activities on the shop floor in accordance with procedures and quality standards,
- Verify the presence of welding plans and work instructions at each workstation,
- Monitor welders’ performance and ensure compliance with required quality specifications,
- Conduct sampling checks during welding to confirm correct parameter usage and enforce adherence,
- Inspect weld completeness and perform visual checks to meet product-specific standards,
- Oversee the introduction of new products and control the repair of defective welds to maintain quality,
- Deliver welding training to shop floor staff and prepare technical documentation for external audits.
- Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering or a related technical field
- Proven experience in supervising welding processes within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and welding documentation (WPS, WPQR, Welding Plans)
- Certification in IWE/EWE is a strong advantage
- Familiar with welding standards and quality control procedures
- Fluent in English and Romanian, with excellent technical communication skills
- Analytical, quality-focused, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced production setting
